The Indiana University Alumni Association is pleased to announce that it will award 33 $1,000 scholarships in 2014 to
full-time undergraduate students attending any IU campus who are the sons and daughters of IU Alumni Association members.
Known as IU Alumni Association Scholars, this program is in its 19th year of providing support to IU students.
Two scholarships will be designated for qualifying students
from each of IU's eight campuses. The remainder will be awarded
to students on an at-large basis. If there are no applicants
from a particular campus, or the applicants do not meet the criteria,
that campus's scholarship will be added to the
at-large scholarship pool. The scholarships will be awarded on
the basis of financial need and academic achievement as
determined by the Office of Student Enrollment Services.
Financial need will be determined from the information provided
by the student and his or her parent(s) on the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid.
You may complete the FAFSA online or paper applications may be obtained from your high school or the
university's financial aid office. Preference will be given to students who have not received a scholarship in prior years.
This scholarship program is funded by the revenue received
from the IU Collegiate License Plate Program. In 2013, more than 50,000
plates were sold,
making the IU plate the most popular specialty plate in
Application deadline: March 28, 2014
