IU’s Got Talent

Students and/or groups will show their talent and Hoosier pride in a fun competition that features student acts and performances. Join in the fun by creating a 2-5 minute act to show off your talent and Hoosier spirit! Do anything from dancing to stand-up comedy, from singing to playing music, anything that shows off your talents.
 
There is a mandatory audition for IU’s Got Talent. Members need to come to Whittenberger Auditorium between 5 and 9 p.m. to perform the act, you will be notified of the exact time of your audition. Please bring anything the act requires: music, props, etc. Nothing will be provided by SAA for the auditions. Please indicate which day will work better for your group’s audition. We cannot guarantee that you will receive your selection, but we will do the best to accommodate everyone.

• You must be an IU student or faculty member to participate in this event. Proof will need to be provided during the audition.
• All skits should include a theme relating to or focused on Homecoming 2011: Rocktoberfest.
• There is a time limit of 2-5 minutes for the actual skit, with approximately 5 minute between each act for setup and tear down.
• Microphones, lighting, sound equipment, and a drum set will be provided. Performers will need to bring any other props or instruments for their act.
• All skits are subject to a required audition
• Judging will be based upon talent, originality, use of the Homecoming theme, and crowd support – so be sure to bring your friends to cheer you on! Winners will be announced that evening. This event will have first, second, and third place winners.
