Operation: MEDS (Medical Students Exploring Different Specialties) is a speed networking/mentoring event for IU School of Medicine students and alumni. Medical Students from all campuses are welcome to participate in this Indianapolis-based program! Operation: MEDS is designed to help students who are unsure of which area of medicine they’d like to practice gain a better understanding about their areas of interest.

At the program students will be able to pick four specialties that they are interested in learning more about over the course of the evening. Each student will spend 15-20 minutes with each specialty before rotating to the next table and specialty of interest. Each specialty will be represented by community based IUSM alumni who have agreed to share their knowledge with students throughout the evening. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday March 25, 2014 from 6-8:30pm in the Hine Hall Ballroom (formerly the University Place Hotel). The evening will also include heavy appetizers and one beverage ticket for a cash beer and wine bar. A cash bar will also be available throughout the night.
